New Director General for IBEC

It is a great honour to be appointed IBEC Director General. This is a daunting challenge as Ireland is coming through what has been amongst its most turbulent times since the foundation of the state. It is more important than ever that the membership of this great organisation has its voice heard. I will do all in my power to ensure that every member is listened to and that the outstanding talents within the IBEC staff are fully harnessed to serve the needs of all our members. We need now a collaborative effort to restore a competitive edge to deliver sustainable work and prosperity for all our people. I am confident that the business community, working with other stakeholders, will help lead Ireland onto a responsible recovery path.
